- Are you a mum?
- Do you ever feel stressed, overwhelmed, totally exhausted or frazzled?
- Do you ever think there just aren’t enough hours in the day to do everything?
- Ever feel like you’re always chasing your tail and generally never stopping?
Then you’ve come to the right place.
I’m Sara.
I’m Italian and have lived in London (UK) since 2003. A Business Analyst by trade, I’m a married mum to 3 boys, who are currently 8, 5, and 3.
My story is simple.
I got to my mid-thirties(ish), and 2016 hit.
Hard.
It woke me up to the fact that something wasn’t right. I was always exhausted, very easily overwhelmed and spinning so many plates at once that I had started to drop things.
Not like me at all.
At the time, I was working part-time as a Business Analyst and had a lovely nanny looking after my boys when I was at work. But I was always rushing. Always on the back foot.
I called it ‘distracted living’.
2016 took it upon itself to teach me (the hard way, of course – it’s always the hard way) that something had to give, and things had to change.
So what is it to you?
I’m on a journey to find practical, sustainable strategies to overcome my own stress and overwhelm. To make my own life simpler where it can be.
I’m very curious, quite stubborn, and slightly addicted to reading and learning, so as I learn new strategies, find new resources, and quite simply experiment with myself, I am quite happy to make it my mission to share my findings and learnings with you, too.
The last year of my life has been about slowing down, making more intentional choices, and looking after myself more. It’s been about self-awareness and self-development. About introducing more mindfulness meditation and healthier habits into my life.
I worked in a fast-paced project environment for years. I know how to help others deliver change. But when the person needing to change is yourself, things can get trickier.
So if you find yourself being easily stressed and overwhelmed, and you’d like to:
- find ways to make your daily life simpler (so you don’t have to feel that stressed and overwhelmed anymore),
- create new (healthier?) habits,
- spend more time looking after yourself and finding mental space,
we can do this together.
